We're banking on you
The average UK household spends about £1,700 on clothes each year.
We now have over 5,000 clothing banks in car parks and recycling centres around the UK. To find your nearest one simply put your postcode into the bank and shop finder above.
We accept most textile items in our banks as long as they’re clean and dry, including shoes (tied in pairs), clothing, handbags, belts, sheets, blankets and towels. It’s helpful if you can place your donations in a bag before putting them in the bank.
The banks are emptied regularly by a team of local collectors. All our banks, vehicles and collectors will all be branded with our distinctive logo so you can be sure that your donations are in safe hands. If you ever see anyone trying to take items from a bank that isn’t one of our collectors, please call the police as it could mean they are trying to steal your donations.
If you see a new bank that claims to collect clothing for charity and you’re not sure about its authenticity, we’d advise contacting your local trading standards office as they should be able to advise you whether the company is genuine or not.
